We’re hiring: Join us as our new paraplanner

November 14, 2025

At Rowley Turton, we’ve always believed that excellent financial planning starts with an excellent team. As our firm continues to grow—supported by award recognition, expanding client relationships, and a strong demand for high-quality advice—we’re pleased to announce that we are now recruiting for a full-time Paraplanner to join our Leicester office.

If you’re an experienced paraplanner—or a talented trainee with the right qualifications—this could be an exciting opportunity to become part of an award-winning Chartered Financial Planning firm that genuinely invests in its people.

Why Join Rowley Turton?

Rowley Turton is proudly independent, proudly Chartered, and proudly client-focused. We work with clients across the UK, helping them plan for retirement, manage life-changing inheritances, and build financial security for the future.

But just as importantly, we’re family-friendly, flexible, and supportive. We understand that life isn’t always straightforward. Whether you need a slightly adjusted start time, the occasional day working from home, or support managing unexpected family commitments, we believe in treating staff like human beings, not numbers.

We aim to be the kind of company we’d choose to work for ourselves.

About the Role

The Paraplanner role sits at the heart of our financial planning process.

You will work closely with our Financial Advisers to build and review financial plans, prepare personalised recommendations, and carry out detailed research. Your work will ensure our clients receive clear, accurate, and thoughtful advice—delivered with the care and attention they deserve.

While the role is listed as hybrid, it is primarily office-based, particularly during the initial months. However, we do offer flexibility for occasional home-working when needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Level 4 qualified (DipPFS or equivalent), or working toward this if applying as a trainee

  • Technically strong, with excellent report-writing and analytical skills

  • Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise workload

  • Comfortable using financial planning technology (experience with IRESS Xplan is a bonus)

  • Approachable, professional, and able to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues

Whether you’re a seasoned paraplanner or a trainee looking for your next step, we welcome applications from individuals who share our commitment to high standards and exceptional client care.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary:

    • £35,000–£45,000 for qualified paraplanners

    • £30,000–£35,000 for trainee paraplanners, depending on experience and qualifications

  • Death in Service (2× salary)

  • 7% employer pension contribution

  • Paid CII membership

  • Flexible working

  • 33 days holiday (including office closure days)

  • A supportive, friendly workplace where your development is genuinely valued
