Professional history
Ryan joined Rowley Turton as an Apprentice Paraplanner in May 2025 after completing his Economics degree at the University of Leicester.
He is currently undertaking the Level 4 Paraplanner Apprenticeship (ST0183) through Skills Edge Training, which includes extensive digital learning, scheduled workshops, assignments, and one-to-one mentoring. Over the course of the programme, Ryan will complete the CII Certificate in Paraplanning, made up of R01 (Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics), R02 (Investment Principles and Risk), R03 (Personal Taxation), and J09 (Paraplanning).
The programme includes over 600 hours of structured off-the-job learning and covers topics such as consumer duty, financial planning tools, effective communication, and report writing. Ryan also receives regular mentoring from the Rowley Turton team to support his development and progression within the business.
Ryan's role at Rowley Turton
As an Apprentice Paraplanner at Rowley Turton, Ryan supports our paraplanning team in researching financial products, preparing suitability reports, and assisting with the delivery of high-quality financial planning advice. He is currently working towards the CII Certificate in Paraplanning as part of his structured apprenticeship programme.
Ryan brings enthusiasm, a strong academic foundation, and a keen interest in financial planning to the role. His support allows our advisers to spend more time doing what they do best – building relationships and helping our clients achieve their goals.
