Leicester based Chartered Financial Planners, Rowley Turton (IFA) Ltd. are one of New Model Adviser’s ‘Top 100’ financial advisers for 2021.

New Model Adviser is one of the UK’s leading financial planning magazines, dedicated to helping professionals in the financial planning industry in their personal and business development.

Each year New Model Adviser select their Top 100 financial advisers. Important factors are firms involvement in the financial services community and their dedication to true financial planning (as opposed to product selling).

Rowley Turton grew despite the pandemic challenges, which have seen many other firms cut back their staff and office space. Moving into a new larger office on the outskirts of Leicester, they invested £50,000 in building three new meeting rooms and recruiting additional staff.

Rowley Turton director Scott Gallacher explains:

“Although we’ve seen many firms reducing their offices, many of clients have informed us that they still prefer face-to-face meetings. Consequently, we pressed ahead with the investment in a new larger office, and the three new meeting rooms, to enable us to accommodate more of those face-to-face meetings that our clients value. The new office, and staff, will also allow room for further expansion.”

However, it’s not only about a growing firm. The Top 100 looks for firms that are going that extra mile. Not only for their only clients but also the wider community. And in this regard, Rowley Turton is committed to promoting the value of advice, with Scott Gallacher regularly contributing to financial planning articles in the trade and national press.

They are also active in the community. Scott Gallacher is currently President of the Rotary Club of Leicester, and the company used their recent 25th anniversary event to raise £3,017 for Scott’s Presidential Charity, the Ectodermal Dysplasia Society.
